When I take a light hold of his mouth, I want to feel the horse's jaw soften and give.

When we first bridle the horse, we began developing his mouth. Through groundwork, driving, and first rides, we have already given him the fundamentals to become a soft-mouthed horse. Now it is just a matter of continuing what we have started.
